Why Coconut Soy Wax?

I could WAX ON about this all day - get it! When we were first researching for our candle brand I tried SO MANY different waxes. From paraffin to beeswax, I found it near impossible to get a good melt pool, not too hot of a flame, a good scent throw and a SMOOTH TOP. I made so many lumpy looking cauliflower candles, I can't count.

I discovered coconut wax when I was truly ready to give up and part of me hoped it didn't work because it was NOT A CHEAP WAX. I was trying to stay away from 'toxic paraffin candles' because everyone said they paraffin candles caused headaches and the general consenus around that time was that people wanted CLEAN candles. Coconut definitely ticked all the marketing boxes but burning that first test candle.. it was love.

Coconut wax has a lower melting point which means you get a much longer burn for the volume of wax, giving the customer a longer lastind experience every time. It's produces a cleaner, soot-free burn too which is great if you dont want to move photo frames and discover the colour your walls used to be underneath - like I did!

It's also renewable so much more sustainable than basically any other wax on the market. And so we were set. We use a coconut/soy blend across our range of candles and wax melts so if you're looking for non-toxic headache-free scents.. look no further!
